How to fix a loud computer cooling fan

Computer fans can be noisy and louder than normal, which it can get really annoying when you are using your computer. The main reason why a pc fan makes loud noises is because its has lost some lubrication due to wear and tear. To quite down the fan again you will have to add some lubricate solution into the fan's motor. Doing this will hopefully reduce the noise your fan makes and make it spin more smoothly and efficiently.

Instructions

1)Get hold of some cheap lubricant solution, its usually available at most hardware stores. Anything oil based will do the trick.

2)Get your fan and peel of the sticker that will be placed in the middle of the cooling fan. Removing this sticker will make it easier to pour the lubricant into the fan's insides.

3)Once the sticker has been removed, the cooling fan will be exposed. You will usually see a small hole in the middle of the computer fan. Now get your lubricant solution and gently with ease pour in the solution into the fan's hole.

4)Give the fan blades a quick spin.

5)Put the sticker back in its original position and that's it!

You can also use this solution for fixing a loud PS3 and Xbox 360 fan.
