How to wire a remote wire on a car amplifer


Instructions on how you can wire a remote wire to your car head unit and car amplifier:

1)Get a long 16 gauge wire, any color and make sure its as long as your cars length.

2)Remove your car head unit from your dashboard, using a flat head screwdriver. Once you have remove it look
at the back connections, you will see a blue wire usually. Once you have spotted were the remote wire is located on your car stereo, get your 16 gauge wire and get a choc block and connect your 16 gauge remote turn on wire to the car head unit's remote wire. If you don't have a choc block to make a secure connection, instead use some electrical pvc tape.

3)Once you have done the connection, you will need to hide the wire under your carpets and side panels. Make sure your remote wire leads to the location were your amplifier is mounted.

4)Once your remote wire has reached your car amp, get a screwdriver and unscrew the terminal on the amp were you insert your remote wire in. Once you have unscrewed the screw on your car amplifier, insert your remote wire into the terminal. Get your screwdriver and screw tight the loose screw you just undone.

5)Turn on your car's ignition, power on your radio and check if your amp successfully powers on.
