If you Nintendo wii is not powering up and therefore not turning on, below are the solutions to fix this problem:
)Check the fuse in the outlet plug, if it's blown you will need to replace it.
)Unplug the AC adapter from the electrical outlet, and unplug the AC adapter connector, that connects into the rear of the Nintendo wii. The AC adapter that provides power to the Nintendo wii, must be unplugged for 4 minutes. During the unplugging process, your AC adapter is getting reset. After 4 minutes, insert the AC adapter conector back into the rear of the console and insert the plug back into the electrical outlet.
)Make sure the AC adapter is an official Nintendo wii product, as many fake AC adapters don't work with the Nintendo wii. To identify if your AC adapter is fake, look at the sticker on the adapter, if it doesn't have a model number, it clearly shows it is a fake. If you have a fake AC adapter, replace it with a original AC adapter and hopefully your Nintendo wii will power up.
)Check the AC adapter for any sign of physical damage, such as splits in the wires because if there is, it can confuse the console and it will fail power on. If the AC adapter is damaged, replace it and your problem should be resolved.
)Make sure the air ventilation of the console is not blocked, the Nintendo wii will not power on because if it does power on, it will overheat and get damaged.
