1)Tweak the brightness, contrast, sharpness and colour on your television. Making adjustments to the television display settings, will enhance how the graphics will look on the telly.
2)Use a good quality hdmi lead, that has gold plated connectors because it sends a better quality signal to the TV. Silver is OK, but in fact gold is a better electrical conductor and outperforms picture quality that is displayed with a silver hdmi cable.
3)Make sure your ps3 console is displaying the maximum HD resolution and refresh rate, that your television supports. (If your playing your ps1 games on your ps3, using a HD telly as the display, the ps1 game will automatically upscale the graphics to the best resolution).
4)Go on the XMB menu, then go to Game settings and then into PS/PS2 Smoothing. Make sure this smoothing option is enabled, as it reduces the sharp edges of the graphics, make the graphics look more smoother and better.
