If you have a slight suspicion that your Nintendo r4 card is fake and it is not the real r4 card, below are the best ways on how to tell and spot if a r4 card is fake:
1)Look at the back of you r4 card, you know that part that is completely black that doesn't have the r4 sticker on it. Look at the image below, if the memory card icon is smaller than the fake, in the image below, it shows you have got a genuine version of the r4 card. The fake r4 cards on the market have a large memory card icon, like in the comparison image below:
2)Another difference to help you identify a fake r4 card, is to dissemble you r4 card and look at the inside of the r4 card's casing, were the blue circle is in the image below. A genuine r4 card, were the blue circle is on this image below, has only letters or numbers, however a fake r4 card has numbers and letters combined together. Look at the place were the red circle is in the image below on your own Nintendo ds r4 card, if it has a slant, it shows it is a genuine r4, if it doesn't is clearly shows it is a copy.
