If your are wanting to charge a dead car battery, using a car battery charger, then you will need to use a car battery charger properly inorder to make that happen. I own a car battery charger myself, and for those of you who don't know how to operate a car battery charger properly, i have the instructions, just below this text:
1)Place the car battery charger near a electrical outlet.
2)Remove the dead car battery from your car and place it in a location that is the closest to your car battery charger.
3)Your car battery charger will have two crocodile clips, red (positive) and black (negative), clip the red crocodile clip onto the + post of the car battery and clip the black crocodile clip onto the - post of the battery.
4)Once you have done that, most good quality car battery chargers, have a switch that allows you to control the charging speed. If you car battery charger has this feature, make sure the charging speed is set to it's maximum.
5)Plug the car battery into the electrical outlet and switch it on, your car battery will start to charge up the dead car battery.
