How To Insert a Memory Card with Maps into a TomTom Sat Nav Memory card Slot

A TomTom needs maps installed onto a Memory card of your country were you want to use the sat nav, to guide you to your destination, with image guidance. If your TomTom sat nav has no memory card inserted into the memory card slot found on the device, then you will need to buy one, with preloaded maps already stored onto it and insert it into your TomTom sat nav.

Instructions:

1)Power off your TomTom sat nav, this is by pressing down the power button for 5 seconds, when the device is powered on. 

2)Once the TomTom is powered off, locate the memory card slot, it will be on the bottom of the sat nav, near the reset button and mini usb connector.

3)Insert the memory card into the memory card slot, push it in, it will then lock in place.

4)Power on your TomTom sat nav, it will find the memory card and automatically load the data files from the memory card onto the device.
