Your Xbox live account contains personal details about yourself, your Microsoft points you have purchased, your Xbox live subscription, it contains your game saves, your friends and your hard earned gamerscore, on your gamertag. To lose all that, you will be annoyed and gutted for weeks and feel angry because your Xbox live account has been hacked and used on strangers Xbox 360 console. The stranger can use all your Microsoft points and use your personal details, if your Xbox live account is fallen into the wrong hands. So i have come with some excellent tips to prevent your Xbox live account getting hacked and stolen:
1)Create a password for Your Xbox 360 that contains numbers and letters and the character length of the password should be a minimum of 10. This makes it extremely hard for the hackers on Xbox live to guess your password. If your password is something easy to guess like "House" or "Remote" a hacker can easily obtain them passwords.
2)Make sure you use a different password that is not the same password for other uses, such as a PayPal account or bank account because if the hacker hacks the password from other accounts, they can also use the password to obtain are steal your Xbox live account, but only if they are the same.
3)Don't give out your email or password that is for your personal Xbox live account, if you get messages from other gamertags that say, "I will add 1800 Microsoft points on your account for free, just email your password and email address for the account you want points added to". Don't fall for it, it is a scam!
4)Create a Xbox live passcode on your account that your want to protect from hacking. So when the thieve gets all excited and ready to use your account, he or she can't sign into Xbox live.
