How To Connect Fiio E18 DAC AMP To Any Samsung Phone

The fiio e18 amplifier comes with an internal DAC option. Basically it is an built in sound processing chip, as well as an amp providing you the best of both worlds. The sound quality from most Samsung Galaxy phones are OK for general listeners for non audiophile owners. The old Samsung Galaxy S3 was the best and was always complimented for its phenomenal sound thanks to the Wolfson audio chip. After that the sound quality in newer Samsung phones went poor. When smartphone manufacturers develop there devices, they want to lower the costs of production quality. For example, they would rather focus on providing a better camera than audio quality. To enhance the sound quality on your Samsung phone and make it sound louder, you can connect an external fiio e18 amplifier. You can also connect a E17 model as well.

Please be aware that you phone needs to be on Android 4.3 jelly bean as it contains the kernel for USB audio playback. You don't need to root your device its fully compatible with official firmware right out of the box.
