How To Turn On Nokia X6 Without Power Button

If the power button on your Nokia X6 has broken off, you would need to book it in for a repair to a local mobile phone shop for it to be replaced. This can become costly and time consuming to repair because the actual technician needs to remove the old one and solder the new part in on the actual PCB board. If your not to bothered about the looks, then you can make your own power button out of a old wire.

1) Find the power button on the Nokia X6 at the top near the charging/headphone socket area.

2) Get some electrical wire from an old plug or speaker, something that you don't need and can reuse.

3) Cut off about 5 cm of wire with copper braid stands on the ends twisting them together.

4) Place the wire directly onto the power button contacts from side to side. This will jumper both ends as if its actually being pressed down by the plastic top part.

5) The phone will vibrate and you will see the manufacturer logo appear on screen. Your smartphone is now switched on without the power button.
