How To Connect Gamecube To External PC Monitor Screen via VGA

If you prefer to use your gamecube with your PC monitor instead of an traditional television that is possible. However, you will need to purchase an adapter which allows the conversion of an analog signal to be sent out via VGA directly into the LCD monitor. There are many different converter boxes that are out there on the market to choose from. The higher prices ones seem to do a better job in delivering a higher picture quality than the cheaper ones, although they also do work but not so great.

1) Connect the adapter box into the rear television out port from the console.

2) The other end of the box will contain a socket for a VGA cable to go into.

3) Get a double ended VGA lead and connect one end into the box and the other into the back of your PC monitor.

4) Tune into the VGA mode on your PC monitor. It should pick up the video signal that is being sent down the box from the actual games console first time round. If not reset the console.
