How To Factory Reset Any RAC Car Sat Nav

If you own any model RAC sat nav and would like to reset it back to factory settings, you will need to follow the relevant reset procedure. Please be aware that this will wipe clean all your current settings, making it appear as if its brand new purchased and switched on for the very first time.

1) Ensure that your RAC sat nav is switched on.

2) Look at the back of the device. You will see a small reset hole. If its not there its most likely on the top or bottom side you can't miss it.

3) Get a pointed object such as a paper clip or pin and push it inwards. Hold it in that position for 5 seconds then remove it.

4) Your RAC sat nav will restart. It will now be successfully reset back to default factory settings.
