How To Factory Reset Sony XPERIA Play PSP Phone

If your Sony Xperia Play PSP Phone, also known as the r800x is playing up or running slow you can carry out a master factory hard reset. This will revert the device back to full factory default settings. No password is required unless you are prompted otherwise.

1) If its currently switched on hold down the power key to turn it off.

2) Remove the battery pack for 30 seconds then put it back in.

3) Hold the Left and Right arrow keys at the bottom underneath the screen.

4) An special menu will now appear. All you now need to do is follow the instructions to proceed with the factory reset process. It will restart straight after upon completion.
