I have just upgraded my original PSP 1000 to a vita. I can't seem to get the mic working as nobody seems to hear my voice during playing online games. Also i noticed that the microphone symbol doesn't show up in game lobbies. Having a look at the outer faceplate of the console, i can't seem to find the mic location on the PSP vita. So i am wondering were exactly is it placed or does it even have one?
Hello, yes the PSP vita does have a microphone. We have actually fully dissembled a console for a repair based on a faulty microphone and have seen it fitted. The location of the mic is right next to the headphone jack, you will find its a tiny hole on the left.
