Having a noisy loud car exhaust all the time can sometimes seem a little obnoxious, especially when driving on the motorway on long journeys. You can still make your car exhaust quieter if you are running a straight piped muffler, without replacing it back to the stock system.
1) Jack up your car and place axle stands underneath.
2) Cut between the middle of the straight pipe.
3) Fit a catalytic converter and secure it using clamps onto both ends of the pipe.
