How to fix Nokia 6288/6280 white screen problem

Both the Nokia 6288 and 6280 after a long time of using the handset it can have the screen going blank or it turns out white color.This is very annoying because you can't see what needs to be displayed on the screen.You can't get access to your important contacts,messages or music.But don't worry just yet in this guide i will tell you what is the fault and how you can fix the problem.

Why is does my Nokia 6288-6280 have a white screen being displayed?

The Nokia 6288 and the 6280 has a ribbon connector and a cable that fits in the connector that connects the screen to the main circuit board together.After hard use of sliding it up and down the ribbon gets warn out and gets broken or bended and no longer works as it should resulting in a white screen display.

How can i fix it then?

1)Remove the back battery cover and remove the battery pack Then with gentle force hit your mobile phone on your lap or on a solid object and remember not to beat the life out of it! This way is a quick fix and it should work.Hitting the device can move the ribbon cable back in its place.

2)If the first way did not work then you need to order a brand new ribbon cable.Then you have to either get a mobile specialist to replace it and fit the new cable for you.Or you can replace it yourself,if you have some basic knowledge on opening mobile phones in the past then it will be cheaper to carry out the repair yourself.
