The risks you take when buying a preowned gaming console

A preowned gaming console is a console that is not brand new and it has be used before you. The reason why people buy a used console is because it usually cheaper then buying it brand new. If your going to buy a used PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 or Nintendo wii, please follow my advice seriously because it for you own good. If your purchase a recondition gaming console, there are the following risks you might be taking:

1)It could be banned from the online service. Some people may sell there banned gaming consoles to retail shops. This is because when a console is banned, it is pretty useless and the only way to get cash for it is to sell it cheap to a shop. If your bought a console and you realised its banned, try returning it back to the shop were you purchased it from and inform them about the issue.

2)Most likely there is no warranty on a second hand console. Which means if your console stops working, you can't go back to the shop and ask for refund or exchange. That is one reason why people buy a brand new console instead is because if it breaks down you can always get help.

3)It can be scratched or damaged because remember somebody before you used it and you don't know its past! So don't expect a mint condition console, for half the price!

4)The console could be faulty and could be the reasons why it was for sale in the first place.
