Tops tips to prevent you PS3 from overheating and getting the yellow light of death

The ps3 is a very powerful gaming computer, it produces lots of warm heat and that heat can cause damage to the console's cpu and gpu. Only this can happen if you prevent your PlayStation 3 from dis-passing the heat out of the console.

Top Tips to keep your PS3 cool and safe from the yellow light of death below:

1)Place your console in a open and clean environment, were there is enough room for PlayStation 3 console's air vents to vent out the unwanted hot air.

2)Also you want to make sure that the PS3 is in a dust free location because dust in the air vents can make the insides of the PS3 dusty as well. Overall it can make your ps3 suffer from bad heat dispassion and this can increase the chance of ylod. So get a little soft brush and give the dusty parts of the PS3 a little clean. Trust me its actually worth taking some time out to clean the dust out because you are risking you PS3's life. You can also carry out a fan test to help blow out the crap.

3)Make also sure that the console is never place on any such surface such as a carpet. If you own a Xbox 360, especially take note of this tip. The carpet can block the console's air vents, therefore leaving the heat still in the console. Many people don't really take notice were there console is placed. The funny thing is they only notice when there consoles stops working duh :(

Hopefully if you do follow these 3 top tips that i have shared, you will extend the life span of your ps3 console.
