How To Connect To Xbox Live Through a XP Or Vista Laptop


If you are want to play on Xbox live, using a laptop as the source of providing the internet connection to your Xbox 360 console, then you can enable internet sharing connection to make that occur. This enabled, will allow your Xbox 360 to be allowed to share the internet connection with your either you're Windows: XP Vista or 7 operating system running on your laptop.

What will i need to use my laptop to connect to Xbox live, using my Xbox 360 console?

*You will need an internet connection that is fast, so there is no gaming lag.

*You will need an ethernet cable, this is so you can connect the console to the laptop.

*You will also need a laptop running either Windows: XP, Vista or 7.

Instructions:

1)Plug in the ethernet cable into the ethernet ports found on your laptop and Xbox 360 console.

2)Once the ethernet connection has been made, go to control panel, select network and internet connections and locate network connections.

3)Once located, you will need to right click on the internet connection that is providing internet access to your laptop and right click on it and select properties.

4)Once you have selected properties, go to the advance tab and enable the tick box that says "allow internet sharing" or something similar and select apply and finally OK.

5)Power on your Xbox 360 and sign in to Xbox live and you have successfully connected your Xbox 360 console to play on Xbox live using a laptop.
