How To Make Your Bass Go Louder Outside Your Car?

If you own a nice sounding powerful subwoofer enclosure, then you probably want to make your bass sound louder outside your car or truck. This is so people can hear you bumping your beat before they see you rolling giving you that cool factor. This can also impress your potential with hot looking girls and help you gain street cred from installing a car audio system in your ride, just like with pimp my ride on TV. There are many different ways you can try out to make your bass go louder and further from you car if you want to.

1) Switch to a ported box. These type of boxes are far more superior than any sealed box for low, loud and thumping bass. If you can hear somebody two blocks down the road, chances are they are running a low tuned vented box. These are always louder, but they are more tricky to build and are larger.

2) Face the box towards the taillights. Moving your box from facing towards you or the back seats will make the sound aimed inside the car. If you want the sound waves to travel outside, face it the other way simple.

3) Bridge your car amplifier, if its a two channel or four channel setup. This will make your car amp more powerful because it will double the wattage. Since you are basically using both channels to make one big output. Its basically a free power upgrade that won't cost you anything.
