I am not sure where my PS2 memory cards are, can i save my game progress on the hard drive?
If you don't have a memory card to save your game progress that can be a problem. Especially, when you are in the middle of a game and have made some progress. You can temporarily save your PS2 game by not turning off the console. This will keep the game running and will provide you with a enough time to go out and purchase a brand new memory card. Other than that, there is no other alternative that will allow you to save games.
