If your Xbox one disc drive is not taking a game disc, the first thing is to clean the actual disc tray. This is used to place the game into the actual drive for the games console to read. If there is dirt onto the plastic tray it can obstruct it from working. This is the first thing to look at, if this doesn't fix the problem then the actual lens inside the drive will probably need cleaning. When we refurbished an Xbox 360 that was handled by a young kid, the disc tray was covered in chocolate and was causing the game disc to not read at times at the console used to freeze randomly. All was fixed when cleaned the disc tray.
1) Power on the console.
2) Press the eject button to release the disc
tray it will pop out.
3) Remove any game disc.
4) Spray a plastic cleaning solution onto the
disc tray.
5) Get a damp soft cloth and wipe away whats on
the disc tray surface.
