How to make headphones last much longer

Stereo headphones or earphones can't last forever, in fact there are some simple ways you can apply to your headphones to extend there lifespan. What makes headphones last longer? Well your answers are below:)

1)Make sure when you have finished listening to your pair headphones you wind them up carefully, if you don't have a case. Doing so will prevent them from getting tangled up, stretched or pulled apart. Another benefit is it also makes them look more tidy.

2)Take extra care when you are plugging in the 3.5mm jack into the device. This is because some people force the jack in or pull it out aggressively, therefore damaging the wires in the jack resulting in problems after problems. Hopefully if you handle the jack with care your pair of ear buds should last the longest than the rest!

3)Don't play really loud music with lots of bass and distortion. I say this because loud music with bass distortion can actually damage the mini speaker in the headphone itself. So either banned yourself from listening to loud music or reduce the bass gain a little.

NOTE: If you have a cheap set of buds you know what to expect. I do recommend skull candy as my second best headphone brand because the sound quality is great and they look unique.
