A tweeter is just as important as a subwoofer and a speaker. A tweeter is specially and pacifically designed
to produce high sounding frequency's from 2000 hz range up to 20000 hz. Tweeters are small and don't have a large cone area because tweeters have to be more efficient to produce high pitched sounds unlike a subwoofer. Tweeters are used in car audio systems to increase the clarity of sound quality followed by a mid-range driver speaker. Tweeters have to wired up to a passive or active crossover with the low pass filter turned on for proper operation and sound quality. Tweeters are made from soft silk these days because the material is very cheap and results in the tweeter to produce clean sound.
