How To Prevent a GameCube From Overheating

If your Gamecube console is overheating, then apply the following tips:

1)Place your console in a location were the temperature around the console is cool, as it will help reduce the Gamecube's internal temperature. Placing your Gamecube in warm stuff atmosphere, will increase it's chance of overheating and freezing up.

2)Make sure you Gamecube is not placed on a carpet, as the carpet blocks air ventilation, as it will stop the hot air escaping out of the console. A ideal location to place your Gamecube would be on something that is plastic or wooden based, as these materials help keep the console cooler and let air ventilate out of the console more freely.

3)Using a small powered hoover, clean the side and rear air vents, on the console. Hoovering up the dusty air vents, will remove dust that can block air ventilation, which will reduce overheating. Or you can make the console even more immaculate inside and more dust free, this is by dissemble the Gamecube and start a cleaning process internally, using your hoover.

4)Place a exhaust computer cooling fan on the rear air vent, of the Gamecube, to help remove the hot air out of the console.
