Adding a subwoofer to your sound system will make it more of a pleasurable listening experience. It will add that extra thump to your games, movies or music providing a more powerful impact of the sound. This type of speaker has a large surface area cone in order to produce the deep tone, which is why they tend to be larger. They will also require a built in amplifier to power them to their full output potential to replicate that thunder effect. If you need assistance on connecting it to your computer, please follow the instructions provided.
1) You will need a soundcard that supports a subwoofer output. You can easily identify this by turning your computer box around and looking out for a 'Orange' color jack. If you can't see it, you will need to fit in an upgraded audio card to support this.
2) Plug the '3.5mm' orange jack into the 'Orange' socket. Firmly pushing in the connecter so that it goes all the way into the hole.
3) You will require a power source to feed the amplifier to drive the sub. Find an available wall socket and insert the mains plug into it followed by switching it on.
4) You should now see the led power indicator light up. Now bump some bass!
