If you own a Garmin sat nav and its no longer speaking to you when its providing you with directions on the map to assist you further, the voice command option is possibly accidentally been turned off. If you some how have turned off this feature, there will be no sound coming out from the speaker when the navigation maps is running. To turn back on the voice commands on your Garmin sat nav follow the instructions below.
1) Switch on your Garmin sat nav.
2) Touch the volume area at the bottom.
3) Uncheck the mute option.
If that doesn't work you might need to re apply the voice settings again.
1) Switch on your sat nav.
2) Tap 'Tools' followed by 'Settings'
3) Tap 'Language'.
4) Tap 'Language voice' next to 'Voice'.
5) Scroll through the list and select the correct language for your region.
