I have an none turbo charged engine in my car, in fact its a Nissan Micra. I want to make it look like a Toyota Starlet Turbo but i don't have enough money for insurance. Can i install a boost gauge to make me feel like i am driving in the fast and furious? I wanna become a ricer, i already have HKS stickers on the back and underglow neons.
A boost gauge is fitted in most petrol and diesel turbo charged cars to allow the driver to see how much PSi pressure is being created. This allows you to be accurate when the power comes on and if there are any leaks down the vacuum line. You can install an fake boost gauge just for looks or instead perhaps install a oil pressure and voltage gauge, at least they would actually be working and serving a purpose.
