You may consider reversing the polarity on your subwoofer if you notice that the cone is moving inwards. Inside the speaker there is a voice coil placed inside a magnet. If the polarity is in wrong order it will not perform correctly and not to its optimal standard. You can reverse the subwoofer polarity on your car amplifier or do it manually yourself if there are issues with your audio equipment.
Easiest Way
Look on your car amplifier for a switch that is labeled as 'Phase'. Flick from normal and ensure that its in 'Reverse'.
Alternative Way
Correct the speaker wire directions. Ensuring that positive is connected to the + terminal on both the speaker and amplifier. The same with the negative is connected to the (-) minus terminal. If they are the wrong way round the cone is working backwards in the opposite direction.
