Can you take the battery out of the droid razr phone?
If you notice that the battery drains really fast on your Motorola Droid Razr Maxx smartphone, it is possible to replace it with a new one. Its really simple to remove the battery and it won't take you long at all if you have the right tools and knowledge.
1) Turn the phone upside down and remove any inserted memory card.
2) Unscrew the two screws at the bottom.
3) Remove the screen from the phone itself separating the two apart from each other.
4) Unplug the ribbon cable from the PCB.
5) Move the cover from the battery connector at the bottom left and unplug the connection.
6) Remove an additional 10 screws that are secured onto the circuit board.
7) Remove the three plug connectors from the metal housing.
8) Lift up the circuit board from the rear of the phone.
9) Remove the battery from your Motorola Droid Razor from the slot and replace with brand new part.
