The very first versions of the Microsoft Xbox 360 games console when it came out didn't come with integrated wifi, you could only connect onto Xbox live using an Ethernet cable. Now this is the fastest type of connection in the gaming world, but in some circumstances its not very convenient at all. So half way through the release, Microsoft developed an Xbox 360 wireless N networking adaptor. This is a little device that connects into the back of the console, it has antenna that picks up wireless signal very strongly You can buy this from Argos if you are in the UK and from Bestbuy if you are from the US. This can also be connected with the Xbox 360 slim console, but it will disable the internal wifi.
1) Line up the Xbox 360 networking adaptor at the back of the console, inserting the plastic tabs so that it will slot in.
2) There will be a small USB cable coming from the module, connect this into the back USB port found near the HDMI connector.
3) Adjust the antenna so that its upright for best wifi signal.
