How To Make Nintendo DS Speakers More Louder

All of the different models released of the Nintendo DS console have internal speakers built into them. You may notice that during gameplay or videos that the sound is very faint, low and quiet. This can make it extremely difficult to hear it in a noisey background environment. The reason why the speakers on the Nintendo DS console at not really loud is because of their small size diaphragm and a low powered amplifier. Nintendo considered designing the console this way to save battery life. To get a beefier sound, you can connect portable speakers directly to your handheld console. This will provide you with louder volume levels and a better audio experience. However, the downfalls are that you have an extra thing to carry around with you and some spare AA batteries in your bag.

1) Remove the plastic battery lid on the portable speakers and insert fully charged AA batteries.

2) Look at the bottom of your Nintendo DS console. You will see a small circular shaped socket with a headphone logo placed above it.

3) Get the 3.5mm jack wire from the portable speakers and connect it directly into the socket found on the console.

3) Switch on your portable speakers and power on your handheld console. Adjust the volume level on your console to your specific liking.
