The Nokia 6300 mobile phone is prone to get dust underneath the screen lens. This is because the front fascia that fits onto the actual device leaves gaps around the sides. This allows dust to get its way through the gaps and sit beneath the cover. This can make the aesthetic appeal of the phone look untidy. You don't require a brand new replacement screen to remove the dust. All you do is simply pop off the front cover and wipe the screen clean.
1) Remove the metal battery lid by sliding it downwards.
2) You will see two small screws located right at the bottom. Using a torx sized T6 screwdriver, remove both torx headed screws.
3) Using your finger nail, run it through all of the gaps that are located around the middle of the phone. This will split the two parts separating the front cover from the middle chassis.
4) Shine the screen in direct sunlight to make the dust particles visible.
5) Using a lint free soft cloth, gently wipe clean the screen glass upwards and
downwards. Don't scrub it really hard or in any type of circular motion
because this can cause scratches to appear.
