How To Hard Reset Samsung Galaxy Ace To Factory Settings Manually

You might consider thinking about hard resetting your Samsung Galaxy Ace smartphone if you are  selling it or trading it in to a mobile phone shop. This will then allow your current data and settings to be reverted back to factory settings, just like how you received the phone new just out of the box. Since this particular phone runs on the brilliant Android operating system, the procedure is pretty straight forward to complete. These instructions have been tested on the S5830 model.

1) Turn the phone off.

2) Hold down the 'Home' + 'Volume up' + 'Power' buttons all together. Once you see the boot screen you can let go of them all.

3) You will see a simple service menu appear on screen. Select the 'Wipe data / factory reset' option.

4) Then select 'Yes delete all user data'

5) It will then take you back to the main service screen which appeared in step 3. You will now need to select 'Reboot System Now' to finalize the hard reset procedure.

6) The phone will start up asking you to select the language and time/date.
