You can use vinegar to clean the corrosion off toy battery contact terminals that have developed rust overtime. This can happen when your child forgets to play with a toy for some time and leaves the old batteries inside it. They then start to leak and then corrode the terminals, which can cause malfunction at some point that will need a fix.
1) Get hold of some vinegar which is used when eating fish and chips. This is the perfect cleaning and cheapest solution to clean battery corrosion in all toys permanently.
2) Remove the batteries from the holder.
3) Apply four drops on each corroded battery terminal.
4) Using a toothbrush scrub really hard in a buffing motion.
5) Use a damp cloth and wipe of the rust particles and remains of the solution.
