Each time you browse the internet on your Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone, data such as what pages you have visited are saved onto the internal memory. This means that it can cause privacy issues because all the websites you have looked at in the past can be seen. Also cookies that are saved can slow down the phone performance as it can store content media ads and other related unnecessary information. Either way i always recommended that you delete and clear the entire internet browsing search history on your Samsung Galaxy S5. These instructions may vary depending on what android version your phone is running on however it will almost be near similar.
1) Open up the internet browser.
2) Go into 'Settings'.
3) Select 'Privacy' > 'Delete Personal Data'.
4) Tick all of the different options such as browsing history, cache, cookies and passwords etc..
5) Press the 'Done' button at the bottom of the screen to delete the internet history completely.
