I have just installed a brand new SKY box today. Once thing that i have noticed is the cooling fan inside seems to be running constantly all the time even in standby by mode. Is it a faulty box should i return it?
Its totally normal for your SKY box to sound like that. This is because there is an internal cooling fan that always has to be running all the time to prevent it from overheating. Hearing this is a good sign that the cooling fan inside is working properly. In terms making the fan sound more quieter inside your SKY box you could replace it with a higher quality one.
