How To Fix a Constantly Beeping and Ejecting PS4 Console

If your PS4 consoles keeps beeping and ejecting in standby mode randomly more than 3 times but its not turning off, this could well be a major hardware problem. Before you jump to any conclusion and get on the phone to Sony, first its best to do a hard reset to the console. This is because sometimes the operating system installed onto the hard disk drive can lock up if the console has previously not been shut down properly or has been interrupted during a firmware update via online.

1) Attempt to power off the PlayStation 4 console either from the main menu or forcing it by holding down the power button located on the front panel.

2) Unplug it from the mains wall socket, also remove all the other cables including the HDMI or charging leads in the USB ports.

3) Hold down the power button on the front until the final constant beep sound is no longer heard. If the beeping sound is still heard, also hold down the eject button until it stops beeping.

4) Allow the console to reset for at least 10 minutes and reconnect all the cables.
