If the battery on your psp console is dead, you can still charge it up, using a usb cable.
Instructions on how to charge a psp using a usb cable:
1)If you know a friend that owns a psp, he or she will probably own a AC charger as well. Ask he or she if you can borrow the AC charger.
2)Once you have the charger, using it, charge your psp's battery pack.
3)Return the charger back to your friend.
4)Now that your psp has a charged battery, you can go ahead and charge your psp, with a usb cable. (Make sure you plug the usb cable into the psp, when the battery life goes below 10%) If you leave it too late, your psp battery will be dead and you can't charge the psp with a usb cable.
