If you are from the UK, you will be aware that electric wall sockets are all 3 pin standard. If you have purchased an electric shaver from a different region like the US or Australia, it will have a 2 pin plug. This is because the region you have bought it from uses a 2 pin wall socket. Since the 2 pin plug won't fit directly into a UK wall socket, you will need to use an 2-3 pin adapter. This adapter can be purchased from Ebay or Amazon for cheap.
1) Connect the plug of the charging lead to the charging socket on the electric shaver.
2) Get your 2-3 pin adapter. You will see that the adapter will have 2 sockets for your 2 pin plug. So insert the 2 pin plug of the charging lead into the 2 pin socket on the adapter.
3) Then insert the adapter into any available wall socket in your home and switch it on. If you have followed all instructions accordingly, the electric shaver will now be charging.
