Leather style jackets look very attractive and very modern to wear as part of your daily casual wear. Leather can last a life time, how long it lasts depends on how good you look after it. If you are starting to notice that your leather jacket is looking a bit rough with apparent scuff marks in certain areas, it can make your leather jacket look damaged. Minor wear is normal on leather jackets, however if you notice some large scuff marks in certain areas you maybe thinking ways on how you can remove them. I have learned a great technique that always works first time that has allowed me to restore some of my classic leather jackets in my wardrobe collection. This also works a treat on leather boots and shoes.
1) Get a special leather cleaner lotion solution from your local hardware store.
2) Apply a small amount of liquid onto the scuffed area.
3) Use a soft leather cleaning cloth and rub in the polish. Buff with light strokes, don't force it in to hard or you could tear into the material.
4) Keep checking the progress you have made in terms of removing the scuff marks. This is because you don't want to over buff and makes them more obvious.
