How to make a Sony Ericsson mobile phone louder

Want to know how to make your Sony Ericsson play ring tones and music more louder? Well that can be achieved, as there is a special secret code that you can enter into your device and increase the volume level of the loudspeaker. This code that makes the speaker louder and will only work on a few Sony Ericssons branded handsets.

1)Enter into your phone's keypad: *#2390899829827122#pp. If the code is entered correctly, you will see a menu that will is called speaker settings and press select.

2)Once the speaker settings menu is displayed, select speaker properties and select ear gain settings.

3)Sony Ericsson  have set the ear gain to 14 as a default configuration, from the manufactures. What you have to do is increase the ear gain to about 20. The more higher the ear gain is set, the more distortion you will hear but the more louder the volume will be. Also make sure you don't set the ear gain above 50. The reasons why is because you can damage the phone's loudspeaker and your earphones, so be careful when you tweak around with the settings!
