When you power on your computer, the hardware fitted inside generates heat energy from operation. It is recommend that you install additional cases fans into your computer tower for better cooling and heat dispassion. This will help keep internal case temperatures down and eliminate overheating issues to occur. They come in many different sizes, two common ones are 80mm and 120mm. You can mount them in two different ways for airflow, either to suck in cold air or to extract hot air out. The computer fan operates directly from the 12 volts the power supply unit generates.
1) Wear an antistatic band on your wrist to prevent the hardware getting damaged.
2) Power off your PC. Then remove the two screws from the back of the case.
3) Slide the side panel in the left direction to release it.
4) Find the location where you want to install the fan. Then line up the computer case fan with the screw holes placed around each of the four corners on the mounting grill.
5) Insert a screw into each hole and using a screwdriver to secure all of them in place.
6) Look for a spare 4 pin molex connector cable. Connect the male molex connector directly into the female molex connector from the PSU.
