If you car has noisy hydraulic valve lifters, know as a common problem called "Noisy tappets", then you can try out a treatment liquid in a bottle, this is to quite them down because it is a much cheaper solution then getting them repaired or replaced. A solution that i recommend to you is a lubricant in a bottle called "Wynns hydraulic valve lifter treatment". It is a great product that lubricates and cleans the hydraulic valves that are inside the car's engine. However, if you have that product, but don't have any instructions on how to add it to the car's engine, i have provided them for you below:
1)Put the key into the car's ignition and start up the car engine.
2)Let the car engine run for 5 minutes, once the engine has warmed up, open the hood.
3)Locate the screw cap, that cap that says "Engine oil" on the lid and the unscrew it and place it to one side.
4)Unscrew the lid on the bottle and gently pour the solution into the engine oil. How many bottles you need depends on how many liters of engine oil your car takes, one full bottle treats 3-6 liters of engine oil.
5)Replace the "Engine oil" cap, throw away the empty bottle in a bin and close the hood.
6)Let the car engine run for another 5 minutes, this is so the treatment solution can get into the valves, this is so it can clean them and lubricate them, this is so they become quieter.
7)Once they noisy tappets have quite down, you can turn off the car engine.
The day they put a mechanic in a can all of them will be out of business be realistic dummy
ReplyDeleteSome people report having to run the car for several hundred miles... It all depends on how gummed-up the lifters are - and it may not work at all.
