How To Connect a CD Player To An Old Car Without Fitting Anything

If you have an old classic car chances are that it will only play cassettes. Removing the current stereo with an aftermarket headunit will remove the originality of the car. What you can do is use a portable CD player instead and a trusty old cassette adapter from Argos or Maplin.

1) Connect the cassette adapter into your cars tape deck.

2) Connect the 3.5mm wire coming from the cassette adapter into the headphone socket on your portable CD player.

3) Power on your portable CD player, insert a CD of your choice and press the play button on your cars tape deck. The sound will transfer into a analog signal sending it down your car speakers.
