If you have a certain amount of data allowance provided to you on your mobile tariff, you want to be very careful that you don't go over it and use little as possible. If you have installed the Opera Mini browser on your Android or Symbian mobile phone, you can disable images to load when browsing the web. Images take up substantial internet data, due to the large data they contain. Turning them off permanently in the Opera Mini browser will save data. This is because they will no longer load up on web pages and only text will appear.
1) Tap the 'Opera' screen icon to launch the browser.
2) Look at the bottom right corner of the screen, tap the 'O' icon that represents the Opera logo.
3) Select the 'Settings' option from the small menu that appears onscreen.
4) Tap the 'Load Images' icon. The status of it will change from 'On' to 'Off'.
