If you are struggling to get your micro SD memory card to read in your camera or smartphone, before considering anything else, its essential you perform a clean first. If there is dust or dirt collected onto the metal gold contacts it will have poor connectivity with the devices slot. All you require for a proper clean is some rubbing cleaning alcohol solution.
1) Switch off your device.
2) Remove the micro SD card.
3) Pour a few drops of rubbing alcohol onto a micro fiber cloth.
4) Gently clean the gold contacts area with the wet side.
