Testing the bass of your car subwoofer is a important concept for all car audio enthusiasts. This guide can also be useful for testing the bass of headphones or speakers. Follow the procedure below to test the bass level of you car's subwoofer as i explain how:
1)Get hold of a bass test cd that contains subwoofer hz frequency's test tones. These cd's can be bought at your local car audio supplier. If you can't find a bass test cd then there are plenty of bass songs in mp3 format that you download for free from the internet. Then make a audio cd out of the bass tracks you donwloaded using burning software. The bass test cd is important because the cd tests the capability and reliability of your car's subwoofer.
2)Power on your car and insert the bass test cd into your car's stereo. Once that is done select the bass test tone you want to test out on your subwoofer. I can't really be accurate and pacific on which test tones you should try out because every bass test cd has contains different bass tests tracks.
3)Once you have chosen which bass songs or test tones you wan't to play, crank up the volume to a high and suitable listening level. During the bass test it is strongly recommend you were some sort of ear protection as the test will vibrate the hell out of ear drums.
