How To Fix a MP3 Player That Won't Turn On

If your mp3 player won't power on and turn on, then below are the solutions to resolve this problem:

1)Make sure the battery you insert into your mp3 player is charged up and is not dead. Sometimes without notice the battery is dead, for example: by mistake you leave the mp3 player on all night because you forgot to turn it off. To test if the battery is dead, simply buy a battery tester because it will tell you instantly and accurately, if the battery is dead or not. If the mp3 battery is internally fitted and you can't remove it, then i suggest you contact the manufacturer who produced the mp3 player, for a further assistance.

2)(This solution only applies to your mp3 player if you use a charge to charge the mp3 player's battery). Check the charger, does have any split wires? If it does, the charger is damaged and is likely to be the cause to this problem.

3)The power on button can be faulty or damaged. Most mp3 players that won't turn on, is because of cold solder joints that connect the power on button to the circuit board. Using a soldering iron, reheat the solder that is on the power button.
