How to fix the Nokia x6 speaker problem

Just recently i have had the Nokia x6 and its a not bad music player for the money. Its supposed to be better than the 5800 ,but the only down fall is the annoying left speaker scratching problem at high volume levels. Some people have had there x6's loose volume overtime in older firmwares versions.I see that the build quality is not that good as expected, but the stereo speakers have nice sound quality that i like, due to the dedicated audio chip.Don't bother taking it to a Nokia repair center just yet.I had before the annoying speaker problem and fixed it for free by the following ways below:

1)Check for any firmware updates because with the latest firmware updates could improve the sound quality and get extra features. To update without using Nokia Software Updater, type in *#0000# this will show you your current firmware version. To update simply go options and check for updates.Internet data charge's may apply.

2)Go to your music player and find audio settings. Then you will see 3 options like in the example image on the left side. What you have do is turn off loudness.Loudness does not make your phone louder it just adds more bass, you can only tell the difference when using headphones or earphone's.Stereo widening effect causes the left speaker to crackle, turning it off reduces it.

3)Turn the balance of the speakers more to the right side. This stops more power from going to the left side.Just do the same setting as in the screen shot.Put the balance 25% to the right side. This fixed the bug for me,try it and leave your comments.

4)Go to your phones default music player and go to options and select equalizer. Then like in this screen shot make a new preset, name it to what you want to call it.Make sure that your do not overwrite your current custom preset. Then after that copy the exact same settings that are below in the taken screen shot.
Copy these into your equalizer setting preset, these pacific band settings should help reduce the annoying left speaker fault.
